HOW TO PURCHASE
In order to make purchases through the site www.ELALONDON.COM , you will be requested to register and provide your personal details. In particular, customers must provide their real name, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information as indicated. Furthermore, when ordering items, you will be required to provide payment details and you represent and warrant that the payment details you provide on ordering are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the billing information provided.
Purchase on the site is available only to individuals and others who meet the ELALONDON terms of eligibility, who have been issued a valid credit card by a bank acceptable to ELALONDON, whose applications are acceptable to ELALONDON and who have authorised ELALONDON to process a charge or charges on their credit card in the amount of the total purchase price for the merchandise which they purchase (see Payment). Purchases made on the site are for the personal or gift use of the buyer only and are not to be used for re-sale, commercial purposes or any other commercial benefit. ELALONDON reserves the right to restrict multiple quantities of an item being shipped to any one customer or postal address.
Moreover, by making an offer to purchase merchandise, you expressly authorise us to perform credit checks and, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.
ORDERS - TAXES
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. ELALONDON offers products for sale that are mostly in stock and available for dispatch from our stores . All prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time. The GBP price of a product displayed on the site at the time the order is accepted will be honoured.
Prices are always shown in GBP and are inclusive of duty but not shipping fees (free shipping on all international orders over £250) and (free shipping on all uk orders)
Please note that all transactions will be in GBP. The final price for overseas customers will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your credit card company processes the transaction.
ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER
Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order.
Unless you cancel your order in accordance with our Cancellation policy below, acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and ELALONDON will be perfected when we dispatch the goods to you.
ELALONDON reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria set-out above.
Furthermore, ELALONDON may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. ELALONDON will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from the Site whether or not that merchandise has been sold; removing, screening or editing any materials or content on the Site; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
PAYMENT
Payment can be made by Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, PAYPAL . Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon receipt of your order by ELALONDON. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.
If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to ELALONDON, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
SHIPPING RATES AND POLICIES
ELALONDON offers delivery to more than 100 countries around the world as indicated on the order form.We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 72 hours, however, please allow up to 5 - 7 days for delivery as external factors may cause delays.
Your order will be shipped once:
i) Payment has been approved.
ii) The delivery/billing address has been verified.
In calculating when your order will arrive, start with the day in which both these prerequisites have been met and count only business days thereafter.
Shipping costs will be calculated depending on the size, weight and destination of your package. All shipping is handled by ELALONDON carrier partners FEDEX, DHL and Post office.
The following table is only an indication of shipping costs; actual costs depend on the size and weight configuration of the merchandise purchased.
Due to the high volume of shipments during Christmas period, we inform our clients that some delays on deliveries may occur . Orders will be handled by from our staff as usual, however they may not be delivered on time due to the shipping line, which is –during Christmas period- overcrowded. Please, allow our forwarders some extra time to deliver your goods. We thank you for your patience and understanding and hope this will not cause you any major troubles.

International Express: £60 (3-5 days)
Shipments (for International Shipments): Shipment is intended ex-works. You are responsible for any additional taxes and duties. ELALONDON is not responsible for any fees charged by customs. If you decide to refuse any shipments from ELALONDON, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to ELALONDON. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.
INSURANCE
ELALONDON insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. You will be asked to sign for any goods delivered at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you.
CANCELLATION, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
We offer a full refund (excluding return delivery costs) on any items returned to us within 14 days of the delivery date.
Unwanted products may be returned for a refund or exchange if they are returned unused and in their original condition.
Please note: the removal of item tags or security tags will be taken as evidence of a product’s use by you; the product cannot be returned in these circumstances. Products bought online can be exchanged and refunded within the 14day period.
Refunds will be provided against the original form of tender, except for in-store purchases of the following, which will be refunded as a Gift Card: fine jewellery, watches, Sale items and special orders.
Once the products are returned to us, you will receive a full refund, including the original delivery costs(if applicable). You will be liable to arrange and cover the full cost of returning the order to us.
Refunds and exchanges on purchases made on an event day or with other promotional discount will be calculated at the reduced price.
Subject to your cancellation rights under the Rights of Cancellation (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), returns must be made within 14 days with proof of purchase. Returns are subject to the exclusions and restrictions listed below (please see ‘Non-Returnable Products’ below).
Non-Returnable Products
The following products cannot be returned:
- Products that are personalised, bespoke, altered or otherwise made to your specification
- Beauty products, perfumes and jewellery products.
-Swimwear, unless the protective adhesive strip is still in place and the item is in a saleable condition
- Any other products designated as non-refundable at the time of purchase
Purchases made during our Christmas or Summer Sale periods may be subject to different returns policies.

In addition to the list above, the following items cannot be returned for purchases made in-store at E L A Knightsbridge:
- Fur items and exotic skins
- Limited-edition items
- Evening wear
- Millinery, scarves and fashion accessories
Refunds and exchanges will not be permitted for purchases made in-store on Sale purchases after the last day of the applicable Sale.
Refunds of Shipping and Duties
While we offer free delivery for all UK orders and FREE delivery on all International orders (over £300) the returns delivery cost will be your responsibility.
Please note: if you return an item, the taxes and import duties will be refunded to you if they were originally included in the purchase price. If they were not included, you will be responsible for reclaiming duty directly from your local Customs office.
If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please notify us within 14 days. We will exchange or substitute it according to availability.
GIFT CARDS
Gift cards are strictly Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable. Goods bought using a Gift Card online or in store cannot be refunded and cannot be returned.
REPAIRS
ELALONDON offers a free repair for damaged items within 1 months from the purchase date. In order to arrange the return shipping, please contact [email protected] and inform us with the style ref. and the date of purchase. Please be also aware that any shipping/duties and taxes fee is under your own responsibility. Repairs do not come with any guarantees.
